  • Food and Nutrition Sessions

    Published 21/06/23

This term students completed their Food and Nutrition sessions linking up with KSHS, to spend two intensive afternoons creating four dishes. Students thoroughly enjoyed the experience but perhaps not the washing up!

Students learnt new skills regarding; hot pans, timings, measuring and preparing ingredients, how to deal with sharp knives and how to clean down.

Students created fruit salads, cold pasta lunches, savoury scones and pizza.

We hope they can now put these skills to use at home as they become more independent as young men.

Thank you to all in the Technology Department at Carre's and KSHS who supported the students with these sessions.
