DfE Leaders visit Carres

Kelly Hughes, Deputy Regional Director, together with RISE Advisor, LEARN Director Emily Walker, and CIT Chief Executive Officer Peter Bell, visited Carre’s Grammar School. They were welcomed by Executive Headteacher Nick Law, who led a tour of the school, spending time across classrooms.
Thank you to our staff and pupils for showcasing our commitment to inclusive, high-quality education across all phases.
Our guests went on to tour Kesteven & Sleaford High School, where Headteacher Josephine Smith led a tour of the school.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the county, Isaac Newton Primary School welcomed Nigel Minns, DfE East Midlands Regional Director, alongside Jahana Akhter, DfE Delivery Officer, and Amanda Griffiths, RISE Advisor.
The two groups then came together and were provided lunch by Newton Bridge Academy Hospitality pupils.
These visits provided valuable opportunities to share best practice, celebrate the achievements of our schools, and demonstrate CIT’s strong partnership working across the education system.
