Lafford

History: Lafford is an old name for Sleaford, it is also the same of sub-deanery in the diocese of Lincoln. The bishop of Lincoln owned ‘the late faire Castle of Sleaford’ and had some control over the school.

House captain: Emily Castledine

"There is a house event for everyone, no matter what their interests are and that’s why I love being head of Lafford. I've really enjoyed getting to know all the pupils in each year group and what their interests are. This has meant that we can discuss together suitable teams etc. for each house event, ensuring the whole house is able to take part in something if they wish to. I've enjoyed seeing their wide range of talents and working well as individuals and a team to bring victory to Lafford."
